Lanta Old Town

Long Beach
Long Beach is a prime location for relaxation on Koh Lanta, a charming sand beach in front of Lanta Sand Resort & Spa. Stretching from north to south on the island’s west coast, this beach offers beautiful sunset views in the evening. It also has direct access from the resort, making it convenient for visitors to enjoy the beach.
Laem Tanod (in National Park)
Located at the end of Koh Lanta Yai, Laem Tanod is the last attraction of the west coast beaches in the Mu Koh Lanta National Park area. The cape juts out into the sea, forming two beaches—one on the east side, which is a long, white sandy beach (about 150 meters), and the other on the west side, made up of rocks, known locally as Hin Ngam Beach.
Tung Yee Peng Village (Eco Tourism)
Situated on the east coast of Koh Lanta, Tung Yee Peng is a small village with a walkway through the mangrove forest. Here, visitors can observe small crabs on the forest floor. The walkway ends at a fish farm in a canal with a floating restaurant. You can also take a longtail boat or kayak trip to feed monkeys, explore the nature, or visit nearby islands such as Ko Aung, Ko Talabeng (with caves), and Ko Bu Bu.
Klong Chak Waterfall
Klong Chak Waterfall offers a refreshing and peaceful environment, with cool and shady surroundings. The water is crisp, and the area is home to plenty of fish. It’s a great place for a relaxing swim on a sunny day.
Lanta Animal Welfare
A non-profit organization on Koh Lanta dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned animals. They provide medical care, sterilization, and adoption services, as well as promote animal welfare through educational programs. Visitors can learn about their work, volunteer, or even adopt a pet, all while supporting a compassionate cause.
